Finished Size: Approx. 42 inches long; approx. 4–5 inches wide (adjustable)

Materials:
Yarn A: Purple speckled yarn
Yarn B: Silk light purple yarn
Yarn C: Light blue yarn (accent only)
Hold Yarn A + Yarn B together throughout the main scarf.
Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm) straight or circular
Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle

Gauge: Approx. 14–16 sts = 4 inches in stockinette (not critical)

Stitch Guide:
Stockinette: RS knit all; WS purl all
Garter: knit every row

Beginning Border: With Yarn C + Yarn B held together: Cast on 22 sts. Knit 6 rows garter.

Main Body: Switch to Yarn A + Yarn B. Row 1 (RS): Knit all. Row 2 (WS): Purl all. Repeat until scarf measures 40 inches.

Ending Border: Switch back to Yarn C + Yarn B. Knit 6 rows garter.

Bind Off: Bind off loosely in knit.

Finishing: Weave in ends. Wet block lightly; lay flat to dry.
